OWNER & Certified Canine STYLIST
Founder of Cheeky Chops Pet Salon and YK Sitter, Cameron has been working professionally with animals for over six years. Her love and joy for dogs made it a natural decision to expand her knowledge, complete the canine stylist program and open an exclusive pet salon, servicing her community and spreading love to the dogs of Yellowknife. Cameron believes in building trust and communicating with your dogs through calm and confident energy to make them feel safe, show them grooming is no big deal and to always honor and take care of them, while doing the same for their skin, coat and overall well being.

Canine STYLIST
Lindsay is the newest canine stylist to join the Cheeky Chops team from Calgary, AB. With 8 years of grooming experience, Lindsay brings a quality of skill that is a reflection to her devotion and love for animals. Lindsay has groomed in salons, homes and in mobile grooming vans, and now in the great white north!
“There are quite a few career choices for heavy duty animal lovers such as myself, and it took me many years of experimenting with other dog related fields before I finally found my passion for grooming. Grooming suits my personality perfectly in that I get to work with wonderful animals all day in a personal and creative manner. I’m very excited to meet and work with Yellowknifers and their furry family members as I continue to enjoy and explore this beautiful part of the world!”

Brook
Brook was the first team member to join Cameron in Cheeky Chops Pet Salon, starting as a Groomer Assistant learning the importance of prep work for a gorgeous haircut. Her love for dogs and excellent prep work has led her to a new start as a Junior Groomer. Brooks' natural flair for the arts is already showing through her training and there is much to look forward to as she builds her skill and style!
“I have always had a lifelong love for animals, and now after caring for my family, I can finally fulfill my passion to work with clients of the fluffy variety. I’m passionate about big and small animals (I cannot pass one without giving them love and affection!) It’s this passion that makes me an asset to the team. I’m also a devoted pet owner, which helps me connect with your pets needs.”
JOCELYN

Jocelyn started her grooming journey through self taught training, grooming her own dogs Shakespeare and Juno when the service was unavailable in her town. She began providing grooming services to pet parents in Fort Simpson before moving to Yellowknife. Through her love for animals and making a difference for them her skill as a groomer has grown into beautiful haircuts that make any dog look cute! You may also recognize her as your pet sitter with YK Sitter!

I enjoy helping dogs stay healthy with proper grooming and I take the time to provide a clean professional cut for your animal in a non-stressful environment. Gianna is our Groomer Assistant, supporting groomers with whatever help they need and preparing dogs for their stylish haircuts. Gianna ensures the dogs are perfectly clean and pampered through their spa bath. Gianna is full of love and showers it onto each pet she meets.
“I love animals in all their quirkiness! Getting to know your puppers through the grooming experience is an adventure and I very much enjoy it and look forward to it. Meeting a different dog everyday and adapting to their needs is part of the challenge and I face it head on”

All first-time clients receive a consultation and ALL clients get a session report, so you're up to speed on how your pup did and have personal recommendations on what to do between appointments.

EASE OF USE
Returning clients have the option of adding a Pet Taxi to their grooming appointment, so they don't have to worry about finding time for transportation to & from the salon.
